THRILLnews- Now that Carrie Prejean has been booted as Miss California, the title has been passed down to Tami Farrell.
Recently, Fox News host and Christian Neil Cavuto asked Farrell on his show today:
"[Prejean] went out and said that a marriage is between a man and a woman. Do you share that view?"
Farrell responded with an affirmative, "Uh huh" as her answer. She then added: "I don't think that I have the right or anybody has a right to tell somebody who they can or can't love. And I think that this is a civil rights issue. And I think that the right thing to do is let the voters decide."
Well, first of all, she did NOT answer the question. Scroll back up on this blog and read what Cavuto asked. Sounds like Tami Farrell would make a great politician. I love how she carefully worded her off-subject answer in order to avoid the question.
Second, WHY would she say that? Does she feel that Carrie Prejean told Americans "who they can or can't love"? As far as I witnessed with my own two eyes and ears, Carrie Prejean explained what her own view was. She did NOT tell anyone who they should love, or how to, for that matter. I don't get that answer from Farrell.
Third, the voters did decide. And sorry, but the MAJORITY of California voted YES on Proposition 8.
Earlier in the interview, Cavuto asks Farrell: "Do you mind my asking you, Tami, how you feel, about gay marriage since this has been such a hot issue with your predecessor?"
She responds: "You know, I think it's hilarious right now that the world is turning to beauty queens for the answers for this. I think it's an important issue and I think that it's one that I don't think I can win a battle. I don't want to be any more divisive than it's already become."
Are you serious? Most of you, my audience, don't catch on because you're probably not involved in politics or Spiritual Warfare. But notice that AGAIN, she dodges the question with an UNBIASED answer. She obviously rehearsed this one in the mirror.
I love how she said she doesn't want to "be any more divisive". That is the mentality of uneducated America. People are afraid to TAKE A STAND because if you do, you might offend the "other team".
Now, I don't know much about Tami Farrell like I do Carrie Prejean. I'm still observing. I did like Farrell's statement about how "it's hilarious right now that the world is turning to beauty queens for the answers". For ugly/fat women who don't like beauty pageants, in the models' defense, there is a lot of pressure that goes with becoming the next Miss America. Things would be a whole lot easier if we gave the crown to a woman based on her... I don't know... her..BEAUTY!
But whatever; I am proud that society wants these models to have intelligence. Society should also respect these American women by letting them have Freedom of Speech.
BOTTOM LINE:
This whole Firing of Carrie Prejean !stinks! like yesterdays diapers. Despite what left-wing Christians, liberals, and cowards might say, I believe Carrie Prejean is a victim: a Christian being persecuted because of her beliefs.
Carrie Prejean made this statement Today: "I hope Americans watching this story unfold, take away the most important lesson I have learned through all of this: nothing is more important than standing up for what you believe in, no matter what the cost may be. I've done my best under the difficult circumstances to handle the vicious attacks with integrity and show respect to others, even those who don't agree with me."
On May 5th, 2009, Carrie made this powerful address:
"On April 19, I chose to answer a question during the 2009 Miss USA pageant in an honest and personal manner that expressed my views of the long-established definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman. That answer, and my commitment to stand by my beliefs, has since resulted in attacks on me and my integrity as a woman. We live in a great country; a nation that was built on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Yet my comments defending traditional marriage have led to intimidation tactics that seek to undermine my reputation and somehow silence me and my beliefs, as if opinion is only a one-way street.
"I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But these attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive. While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others' opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks.
"With that in mind, I will continue to support and defend marriage as the honorable institution it is. I will continue to stand with the overwhelming majority of the American people and the voters of my home state of California. If this whole experience has taught me anything, it is our precious right to speak freely, and how we as Americans can never allow anyone or any group to intimidate or threaten us to keep silent."
Carrie Prejean, you have MY prayers. I'm sure you have read Matthew 10:22. Please endure through the persecution you are facing. You are loved by many including Christ. May God bless you.

You know that this crap is only taking place because she is a woman. If it had been the view of a gentlemen then this would not have happened. It's funny that this day and age we allow such things as gay marriage but publicly hang a girl for voicing her opinion on the issue. I guess Gwen Stefani said it best. After all she is "just a girl". I'd get to higher ground if I were you honey because if God has anything to do with it, the sunny state of California will be crumbling to the sea...oh wait..he's already started the demolition on that project lol.
Yup yup yup... God can burn the state of CA down for all I care... oh wait... ... ...nah, nevermind. Too soon.
