Obama Hits All-Time Low Among Blacks as Cain Surges Among Republicans

Gallup released new polling data today that showed African American presidential candidate Herman Cain's support was surging among Republicans even as President Barack Obama’s job approval hit an all-time low among blacks.

In a poll of 1,064 Republicans and Republican-leaning independents conducted Oct. 3-7, 18 percent said they supported Cain for president. That put the former Godfathers Pizza CEO in a close second behind former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who placed first with 20 percent.

Meanwhile, only 80 percent of blacks told Gallup in the week that ended on Oct. 9 that they approved of the way Obama was handling his job as president. Previously, Obama’s lowest approval among blacks had been the 81 percent he had received in the weeks that ended on March 6 and August 14 of this year.

Obama’s highest all-time approval among blacks was 96 percent--a level it reached during five different weeks of 2009, Obama's first year in office.

Former Gov. Rick Perry placed third after Romney and Cain in the Republican presidential primary poll that Gallup released today. Perry garnered the support of 15 percent, down from the 31-percent support he had in the previous Gallup Republican presidential poll, which was conducted Sept. 15-18.

Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, with 8 percent, was fourth in the latest Gallup poll. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Rep. Michele Bachmann tied for fifth with 5 percent, former Sen. Rick Santorum was next with 2 percent, followed by former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman with 1 percent.

PBS Alters Transcript to Hide Obama Gaffe

Barack Obama has gone to Congress asking for more money to spend. The President, in a rambling and tedious exercise mixing blame with demands, made quite a few dubious statements in laying out the case for Congress to vote for the plan which as yet does not exist. Much like Obamacare, Congress must ultimately vote for the bill to know what is in it.

At one point Mr. Obama made a major gaffe; he identified Abraham Lincoln as the founder of the Republican Party.

Lincoln did not join the Republicans until 1856, over two years after the party was founded. The first Republican convention was held in Ripon, Wisconsin in 1854.

Such a gaffe would have brought huge amounts of ridicule and derision on George W. Bush, but in the case of Obama the media yawned.

Actually, they did more than yawn; government-funded PBS has altered the transcript of the President's speech, removing the offending comment.

The New York Times transcript has the following quote:

"We all remember Abraham Lincoln as the leader who saved our Union. Founder of the Republican Party. But in the middle of a civil war, he was also a leader who looked to the future -- a Republican President who mobilized government to build the Transcontinental Railroad -- (applause) -- launch the National Academy of Sciences, set up the first land grant colleges. (Applause.) And leaders of both parties have followed the example he set."

But how does it appear in the PBS transcript?

"We all remember Abraham Lincoln as the leader who saved our Union. But in the middle of a Civil War, he was also a leader who looked to the future - a Republican president who mobilized government to build the transcontinental railroad; launch the National Academy of Sciences; and set up the first land grant colleges. And leaders of both parties have followed the example he set."

So PBS has purposely altered a transcript containing a major gaffe by the President. See a screen shot:

Shocking, but not surprising! B-Ho was also wrong on saying that Lincoln started the first land grant colleges. Each state is in charge of its own educational institutions and most of the states entering the union after 1815 had designated state universities,with grants of land, in their state constitutions. That is the reason that major state universities are in near the geographic center of their respective states, and not located in the major urban areas.

The American Betrayal

The earthquake in Egypt caught us off guard. As was the case before, this time too our intelligence officials did not predict it, yet we are in good company: No Western country, including America, predicted this, just like they did not predict Hamas’ rise in Gaza.

Yet there is one more thing we can learn from the events in Egypt, aside from the fragility of the region we inhabit, and it is something that’s not easy to digest: The Western world’s and mostly America’s treachery. We learned that the way they abandoned President Mubarak and gave him the cold shoulder can happen to us too. Or in other words, we cannot count on the Americans at a time of crisis.

Everyone understands that Mubarak has to go, yet we would expect the American Administration to back him rather than disown him. It’s the decent thing to do at least. For dozens of years, he was the only leader the West could rely on, the dam in the face of Islamization. He should have been treated differently if only in gratitude.

And when America does this to the Egyptian president, what should any other ally think? Perhaps that it’s better to conduct oneself like Iran or Syria, rather than like a moderate Arab state.

There is no doubt that something fundamental about the American Administration has changed. The US conduct in the Middle East attests to inexperience and lack of familiarity with the region. It appears as though the world is being led by a rookie.

Ignoring Mideastern Realities

A senior diplomatic source told me this past week that Israel is engaged in talks with US officials on the events in Egypt and Mubarak’s abandonment. The Americans are saying that they cannot ignore reformist elements that believe in the universal values espoused by the president. Or in other words: The current Administration’s problem is ideological and ignores Mideastern realities. Indeed, democratic reforms are worthy of being promoted, yet when this is done by abandoning an ally it sends a bad message to regional leaders.

Meanwhile, it’s clear to all that if Muslim groups take power in Egypt at the conclusion of the uprising, our peace deal with Cairo is doomed. And should this agreement collapse, what are the chances that Jordan will remain the only state in the region that has peace with Israel?

The revolution in Egypt has prompted a revolution in our thinking as well. Indeed, Egypt is not Israel, as we have the support of the US Congress and Jewish groups that exert immense influence on the Administration. However, following the events of the past week, we must wonder whether we can even count on that.

New documents point to Indonesian citizenship

Documents released by the State Department in two separate Freedom of Information Act requests bolster evidence Barack Obama became a citizen of Indonesia when he moved to the Southeast Asian nation with his mother and stepfather in the late 1960s.

In a passport amendment submitted Aug. 13, 1968, Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, identified her son with an Indonesian surname and asked the State Department to drop him from her U.S. passport.

The transaction could have been part of an effort by Dunham to obtain Indonesian citizenship for her son. It took place before the State Department began requiring all citizens traveling abroad, regardless of age, to obtain their own passport.

Several court cases challenging Obama's presidential eligiblity have argued he gave up his U.S. citizenship in Indonesia and used an Indonesian passport to travel to Pakistan in the early 1980s. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship.

The amendment was submitted less than a year after Dunham joined her second husband, Lolo Soetoro, in Indonesia. It requested "Barack Obama II (Soebarkah)" be removed from her U.S. passport, No. 777788.

A letter from Lolo Soetoro to immigration officials in Hawaii pleading for an extension of his student visa, because anti-American sentiments in Indonesia could endanger his family, offers a possible reason for seeking Indonesian citizenship for Obama.

Meanwhile, an Indonesian school registration card that surfaced during the 2008 presidential campaign presents evidence Obama was an Indonesian citizen during his time in the country as a child.

WND reported in August 2008 the Associated Press published a photograph purportedly of Obama's registration card at Indonesia's Francis Assisi school. The card showed he was enrolled as "Barry Soetoro" and listed as an Indonesian citizen whose official religious identification was Muslim.

An AP spokesman affirmed to WND that the photograph of the registration card was authentic.

Turbulent politics

Lolo Soetoro's letter to Immigration and Naturalization officials in the Department of Justice in Hawaii explained his wife's U.S. citizenship could be a problem in the turbulent politics of Indonesia in the mid-1960s.

"My wife, Ann Soetoro, is a citizen of the United States and has resided here all her life," Soetoro wrote the immigration officials, pleading hardship should he be forced to return to his Indonesian home. "It is presently impossible for my wife to return to Indonesia with me."

Soetoro argued "anti-American feeling has reached a feverish pitch under the direction of the Indonesian communist party, and I have been advised by both family and friends in Indonesia that it would be dangerous to endeavor to return with my wife at the present time."

"Complicated internal problems are causing the Indonesian government to crumble rapidly," he pleaded. "The anti-Western forces are gaining in strength and have brought about government conviscation (sic) of all United States industry in Indonesia as well as sacking of the United States embassy, and burning and sacking of United States Information Service libraries. The United States Peace Corps has recently been asked to leave because the Indonesian government is no longer able to guarantee the safety of corps members."

The newly released State Department records show Obama and his mother traveled to Indonesia to join her husband in October 1967, with Obama listed on her passport as her son and an American citizen.

When Obama's mother returned to the U.S. Oct. 20-21, 1971, she entered with State Department forms allowing her to travel with the passport she used in 1967 to go to Indonesia, even though it had expired.

The expired passport contained no reference to Barack Obama, although he had traveled with his mother on the October 1967 flight from the United States to Indonesia.

The only known testimony that Obama returned home from Indonesia alone and on a U.S. passport is his own account in his autobiography, "Dreams from My Father." That source, however, has proved to be unreliable in various material aspects.

Questions

Did Obama's mother remove him from her passport to establish him as an Indonesian citizen, both for his safety and his acceptance in Indonesian schools?

If Dunham had wanted her son to retain U.S. citizenship, she could have kept him on her passport and avoided the trouble of filing an amendment with the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta.

On Aug. 13, 1968, the date Dunham filed the amendment, there was no reason to anticipate she would send her son home alone, something she did not decide do until three years later, in 1971.

In her own handwriting on the passport amendment, Dunham declared, "I intend to continue to reside abroad for the following period and purpose," stating her stay in Indonesia is "indefinite" because she is "married to an Indonesian citizen."

Lolo Soetoro also appears to have had an influence on convincing Dunham to change her mind about sending Obama to school in Indonesia. Both were worried about that prospect when they were pleading for Lolo not to be forced home in 1966.

A letter to the file by INS/DOJ investigator Robert R. Schultz, dated May 24, 1967, documents a telephone call he had with Dunham in Hawaii on May 12, 1967.

"She also indicated that her son is now in Kindergarten and will commence the first grade next September and if it is necessary for her and the child to go to Indonesia she will educate the child at home with the help of school texts from the U.S. as approved by the Board of Education in Honolulu," Schultz wrote.

Obama would not have needed Indonesian citizenship to study in Jakarta at home with his mother.

Clearly, from the registration record from the Assisi school, being listed as an Indonesian citizen was useful to Obama, much as his mother and stepfather had pleaded to U.S. officials before Lolo Soetoro was denied the waiver he needed to stay in the U.S. legally past 1966.

Prop 8: Judge Walker's Bias Will Be Overruled

Despite the media hoopla, this is not the first case in which a federal judge has imagined and ruled that our Constitution requires same-sex marriage. A federal judge in Nebraska ruled for gay marriage in 2005 and was overturned by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in 2006.

The Proposition 8 case on which the Ninth Circuit's Judge Vaughn Walker ruled Wednesday was pushed by two straight guys with a hunger for media attention, lawyers with huge egos who overrode the considered judgment of major figures in the gay legal establishment, thinkers who feared exactly what we anticipate: the Supreme Court will uphold Prop. 8 and the core civil rights of Californians and all Americans to vote for marriage as one man and one woman.

Judge Walker's ruling proves, however, that the American people were and are right to fear that too many powerful judges do not respect their views, or the proper limits of judicial authority. Did our Founding Fathers really create a right to gay marriage in the U.S. Constitution? It is hard for anyone reading the text or history of the 14th Amendment to make that claim with a straight face, no matter how many highly credentialed and brilliant so-called legal experts say otherwise.

Judge Walker has added insult to injury by suggesting that support for marriage is somehow irrational bigotry, akin to racial animus. The majority of Americans are not bigots or haters for supporting the commonsense view that marriage is the union of husband and wife, because children need moms and dads.

Judge Walker's view is truly a radical rejection of Americans' rights, our history and our institutions that will only fuel a popular rebellion now taking place against elites who are more interested in remaking American institutions than respecting them.

If this ruling is upheld, millions of Americans will face for the first time a legal system that is committed to the view that our deeply held moral views on sex and marriage are unacceptable in the public square, the fruit of bigotry that should be discredited, stigmatized and repressed. Parents will find that, almost Soviet-style, their own children will be re-educated using their own tax dollars to disrespect their parents' views and values.

Those in power will call it tolerance, they will call it pluralism, but in truth same-sex marriage is a government takeover of an institution the government did not make, cannot in justice redefine, and ought to respect and protect as essential to the common good.

Judge Walker is off-base: same-sex marriage is not a civil right, it is a civil wrong. The Supreme Court and Congress will reject his biased view.

Oops! Obama mama passport 'destroyed'

State Dept. claims records gone for Stanley Ann Dunham prior to 1968

Responding to a Freedom of Information Act request, the State Department has released passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother – but records for the years surrounding Obama's 1961 birth are missing.

The State Department claims a 1980s General Services Administration directive resulted in the destruction of many passport applications and other "non-vital" passport records, including Dunham's 1965 passport application and any other passports she may have applied for or held prior to 1965.

Destroyed, then, would also be any records shedding light on whether Dunham did or did not travel out of the country around the time of Barack Obama's birth.

The claim made in the FOIA response letter that many passport records were destroyed during the 1980s comes despite a statement on the State Department website that Passport Services maintains U.S. passport records for passports issued from 1925 to the present.

The records released, however, contain interesting tidbits of new information about Obama's mother, including the odd listing of two different dates and locations for her marriage to Obama's Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.

In the released documents Dunham listed both March 15, 1965, in Molokai, Hawaii, and March 5, 1964, in Maui, Hawaii, as the dates and places of her marriage.

Dunham later divorced Lolo Soetoro in Hawaii. The divorce decree took effect Nov. 5, 1980, but the divorce papers do not list the date of the marriage.

No marriage certificate between Dunham and Soetoro has yet publicly surfaced, but a released application to amend Dunham's 1965 passport to her married name Stanley Ann Soetoro includes a checked box indicating a passport officer had seen the marriage certificate.

The released records also document that on Aug. 13, 1968, Dunham applied to have her 1965-issued passport renewed for two years, until July 18, 1970.

Under 22 USC Sec. 217a, from 1959 through 1968, passports were initially issued for three years, but they could be renewed for an additional two years.

Obama, by any other name

Also revealed by the released records is a heretofore unknown, alternative name for Barack Obama.

In the 1968 application to renew her 1965 passport, Dunham listed as her son Barack Hussein Obama, including in parenthesis below the name, "Saebarkah," in what appears to be a variation of an Indonesian surname not previously associated in the public record with the president.

For some unexplained reason, the designation of "Barack Hussein Obama (Saebarkah)" is crossed off the 1968 application by five handwritten, diagonal hash marks.

Dunham also appears to have used two different variations of her name in obtaining and amending passports while married to Lolo Soetoro: Stanley Ann Dunham Soetoro and, without her maiden name, Stanley Ann Soetoro.

On April 27, 1981, Dunham applied from Jakarta, Indonesia, for a U.S. passport, indicating that she was in Indonesia working on a two-year contract from the Ford Foundation, from January 1981 through December 1982.

At that time, Dunham was working on a microfinance program for the Ford Foundation, which was overseen by Peter Geithner, the father of Timothy Geithner, the current U.S. secretary of the treasury.

Ann Dunham's occupation in the 1981 passport application was listed as "Program Officer, Ford Foundation."

No passport records subsequent to 1986 for Ann Dunham were released, though presumably a passport was issued following her 1986 application, such that the 10-year period prior to expiration would have extended one year past her death.

Dunham died Nov. 7, 1995, and was known to have been in Indonesia in 1994 when an Indonesian doctor first misdiagnosed as indigestion the first signs of the ovarian cancer that was the cause of her death the following year.

The released documents shed no light on proving or disproving whether Dunham might have held a passport prior to Barack Obama's birth that she could have used to travel to Kenya for his birth, as has been speculated in the absence of the release of Obama's long-form birth certificate from Hawaii..

The State Department released the Dunham passport documents July 29, responding to a FOIA request submitted by Christopher Strunk, a New York resident who has actively pursued obtaining documents regarding Obama's birth and his eligibility to be president under the "natural born citizen" requirement of Section 1, Article Two of the United States Constitution.

The Dunham documents have been archived on the Internet.

The controversy continues

A prominent array of commentators, including Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Mark Levin, Lou Dobbs, Peter Boyles and WND's Chuck Norris and Pat Boone have all said unequivocally and publicly that the Obama eligibility issue continues to be legitimate and worthy.

Longtime New York radio talker Lynn Samuels did the same.

"We don't even know where he was born," she said. "I absolutely believe he was not born in this country."

WND has reported on multiple legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

Some of the lawsuits question whether Obama was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.

Further, others question his citizenship by virtue of his attendance in Indonesian schools during his childhood and question on what passport did he travel to Pakistan three decades ago.

Adding fuel to the fire is Obama's persistent refusal to release documents that could provide answers and his appointment of lawyers to defend against all requests for his documentation.

While his supporters cite an online version of a "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii as his birth verification, critics point out such documents actually were issued for children not born in the state.

Five Things We've Learned about ObamaCare After It Passed

"[W]e have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., famously said that about President Obama's health care reform package. She was right. We are just finding out what was contained within that Obamacare law that Obama signed weeks ago.

Here are five things we've learned so far:

One: No sooner had Obamacare passed than the White House discovered that someone goofed. Despite all of Obama's promises and talking points, Obamacare as passed by Congress does not require insurers to cover children with expensive pre-existing medical conditions.

Immediately, the White House got an assurance from the insurers. After demonizing them for months as callous profiteers on others' misery (in fact, the entire industry is barely profitable), Obama now tells Americans that they can trust health insurance companies to do the right thing out of the goodness of their hearts.

Two: State governments discovered that they are no longer just required to guarantee payment for indigent patients' care under Medicaid. Obamacare changes Medicaid law so that now states must also guarantee treatment to the poor.

This is a thorny issue: Many doctors refuse to see Medicaid patients because the program doesn't pay enough for them to break even. (In some states, payments to doctors have been delayed for months or years.)

Some cash-strapped states expect this new definition to spawn court challenges, which will ultimately force them to pay exorbitantly high prices to doctors and hospitals for their existing patients.

Three: Even as Medicaid's costs increase because of the above, so will the number of Medicaid patients under Obamacare's coverage provisions. Thanks to the "Cornhusker Kickback" -- the special Nebraska provision that was extended to every state in the final version of the bill -- the federal taxpayer is on the hook for 90 percent of the new patients' expenses.

So remember those rosy budget projections about Obamacare reducing the deficit, or at least not costing too much? Forget it.

Four: Douglas Shulman, commissioner for the Internal Revenue Service, announced this week at the National Press Club that Obamacare means he can take your tax refund from you. Obamacare requires Americans to purchase insurance, but contains no serious enforcement mechanisms.

So, Shulman said, the IRS will collect penalties from those who fail to purchase "qualified" insurance by confiscating the interest-free loans that taxpayers make to the government throughout the year through employment withholding.

Five: The ski-tourism industry suddenly realizes that it is endangered by Obamacare. Ski resorts must now provide health care or else pay a fine for each employee who works more than 120 days out of the year -- and many of their employees do.

The bill had applied only at the 150-day threshold, until House Democrats changed it in reconciliation. They also cranked up the fine from $750 to $2,000 per employee, in order to pad their budget numbers.

Those are just five things we've learned, out of more than 2,000 pages. You can bet we'll learn a lot more in the seven months leading up to Election Day.

Speaking of which, on Monday evening, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., explained away public opposition to this new health care law, shaped in large part by the special deals he made with reluctant senators last December.

"The loud minority made a lot of noise," Reid said. "Everybody acknowledges, with rare exception, that what we did with our immediate deliverables was terrific."

Reid's state defies the laws of math. Sixty-two percent of Nevadans somehow constitute a "rare exception." And it looks as though the "loud minority" will send Reid looking for a new insurance plan later this year.

20 Ways ObamaCare Will Take Away Our Freedoms

With House Democrats [passing] the Senate health care bill with some reconciliation changes [], it is worthwhile to take a comprehensive look at the freedoms we will lose.

Of course, the overhaul is supposed to provide us with security. But it will result in skyrocketing insurance costs and physicians leaving the field in droves, making it harder to afford and find medical care. We may be about to live Benjamin Franklin’s adage, “People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.”

The sections described below are taken from HR 3590 as agreed to by the Senate and from the reconciliation bill as displayed by the Rules Committee.

1. You are young and don’t want health insurance? You are starting up a small business and need to minimize expenses, and one way to do that is to forego health insurance? Tough. You have to pay $750 annually for the “privilege.” (Section 1501)

2. You are young and healthy and want to pay for insurance that reflects that status? Tough. You’ll have to pay for premiums that cover not only you, but also the guy who smokes three packs a day, drink a gallon of whiskey and eats chicken fat off the floor. That’s because insurance companies will no longer be able to underwrite on the basis of a person’s health status. (Section 2701).

3. You would like to pay less in premiums by buying insurance with lifetime or annual limits on coverage? Tough. Health insurers will no longer be able to offer such policies, even if that is what customers prefer. (Section 2711).

4. Think you’d like a policy that is cheaper because it doesn’t cover preventive care or requires cost-sharing for such care? Tough. Health insurers will no longer be able to offer policies that do not cover preventive services or offer them with cost-sharing, even if that’s what the customer wants. (Section 2712).

5. You are an employer and you would like to offer coverage that doesn’t allow your employers’ slacker children to stay on the policy until age 26? Tough. (Section 2714).

6. You must buy a policy that covers ambulatory patient services, emergency services, hospitalization, maternity and newborn care, mental health and substance use disorder services, including behavioral health treatment; prescription drugs; rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices; laboratory services; preventive and wellness services; chronic disease management; and pediatric services, including oral and vision care.

You’re a single guy without children? Tough, your policy must cover pediatric services. You’re a woman who can’t have children? Tough, your policy must cover maternity services. You’re a teetotaler? Tough, your policy must cover substance abuse treatment. (Add your own violation of personal freedom here.) (Section 1302).

7. Do you want a plan with lots of cost-sharing and low premiums? Well, the best you can do is a “Bronze plan,” which has benefits that provide benefits that are actuarially equivalent to 60% of the full actuarial value of the benefits provided under the plan. Anything lower than that, tough. (Section 1302 (d) (1) (A))

8. You are an employer in the small-group insurance market and you’d like to offer policies with deductibles higher than $2,000 for individuals and $4,000 for families? Tough. (Section 1302 (c) (2) (A).

9. If you are a large employer (defined as at least 101 employees) and you do not want to provide health insurance to your employee, then you will pay a $750 fine per employee (It could be $2,000 to $3,000 under the reconciliation changes). Think you know how to better spend that money? Tough. (Section 1513).

10. You are an employer who offers health flexible spending arrangements and your employees want to deduct more than $2,500 from their salaries for it? Sorry, can’t do that. (Section 9005 (i)).

11. If you are a physician and you don’t want the government looking over your shoulder? Tough. The Secretary of Health and Human Services is authorized to use your claims data to issue you reports that measure the resources you use, provide information on the quality of care you provide, and compare the resources you use to those used by other physicians. Of course, this will all be just for informational purposes. It’s not like the government will ever use it to intervene in your practice and patients’ care. Of course not. (Section 3003 (i))

12. If you are a physician and you want to own your own hospital, you must be an owner and have a “Medicare provider agreement” by Feb. 1, 2010. (Dec. 31, 2010 in the reconciliation changes.) If you didn’t have those by then, you are out of luck. (Section 6001 (i) (1) (A))

13. If you are a physician owner and you want to expand your hospital? Well, you can’t (Section 6001 (i) (1) (B). Unless, it is located in a country where, over the last five years, population growth has been 150% of what it has been in the state (Section 6601 (i) (3) ( E)). And then you cannot increase your capacity by more than 200% (Section 6001 (i) (3) (C)).

14. You are a health insurer and you want to raise premiums to meet costs? Well, if that increase is deemed “unreasonable” by the Secretary of Health and Human Services it will be subject to review and can be denied. (Section 1003)

15. The government will extract a fee of $2.3 billion annually from the pharmaceutical industry. If you are a pharmaceutical company what you will pay depends on the ratio of the number of brand-name drugs you sell to the total number of brand-name drugs sold in the U.S. So, if you sell 10% of the brand-name drugs in the U.S., what you pay will be 10% multiplied by $2.3 billion, or $230,000,000. (Under reconciliation, it starts at $2.55 billion, jumps to $3 billion in 2012, then to $3.5 billion in 2017 and $4.2 billion in 2018, before settling at $2.8 billion in 2019 (Section 1404)). Think you, as a pharmaceutical executive, know how to better use that money, say for research and development? Tough. (Section 9008 (b)).

16. The government will extract a fee of $2 billion annually from medical device makers. If you are a medical device maker what you will pay depends on your share of medical device sales in the U.S. So, if you sell 10% of the medical devices in the U.S., what you pay will be 10% multiplied by $2 billion, or $200,000,000. Think you, as a medical device maker, know how to better use that money, say for R&D? Tough. (Section 9009 (b)).

The reconciliation package turns that into a 2.9% excise tax for medical device makers. Think you, as a medical device maker, know how to better use that money, say for research and development? Tough. (Section 1405).

17. The government will extract a fee of $6.7 billion annually from insurance companies. If you are an insurer, what you will pay depends on your share of net premiums plus 200% of your administrative costs. So, if your net premiums and administrative costs are equal to 10% of the total, you will pay 10% of $6.7 billion, or $670,000,000. In the reconciliation bill, the fee will start at $8 billion in 2014, $11.3 billion in 2015, $1.9 billion in 2017, and $14.3 billion in 2018 (Section 1406).Think you, as an insurance executive, know how to better spend that money? Tough.(Section 9010 (b) (1) (A and B).)

18. If an insurance company board or its stockholders think the CEO is worth more than $500,000 in deferred compensation? Tough.(Section 9014).

19. You will have to pay an additional 0.5% payroll tax on any dollar you make over $250,000 if you file a joint return and $200,000 if you file an individual return. What? You think you know how to spend the money you earned better than the government? Tough. (Section 9015).

That amount will rise to a 3.8% tax if reconciliation passes. It will also apply to investment income, estates, and trusts. You think you know how to spend the money you earned better than the government? Like you need to ask. (Section 1402).

20. If you go for cosmetic surgery, you will pay an additional 5% tax on the cost of the procedure. Think you know how to spend that money you earned better than the government? Tough. (Section 9017).

Bush Recession vs. Obama Recession

If you just think about it, somehow the side who heirs on NOT killing a baby is the bad guy. There is currently a spin in play that is trying to rival that. It's been driving me out of my mind.
Obama and Jobs.
This is the guy who is the "Planned Parenthood" of jobs. His spin is saving him...
and I will show you how he's doing it next.

Now:
You may recall the phrase, "This president is the worst since Herbert Hoover!"
Yeah, yeah. It was a standard attack on George W. Bush, back in his first term as the election was drawing closer. Ofcourse, you may also recall that there was an event called September 11th, that kind of left the economy in shambles.

Nevermind that; The left were eager to blame Bush for all the job losses and paint him as "Herbert Hoover," the only president to proside under a total jobs lost, losing 8 million jobs. And they succeeded in painting him that. Bush was the big job killer. His peak job loss hit 1.8 million jobs between 2001 and 2003.

Now, when the economy rebounded, he had a net gain of jobs by the end of his first term. The media, and John Kerry, ofcourse, immediately apologized to Bush... or... they just completely ignored the whole Bush taxcut working thing and just moved on. It was one or the other, I can't really remember, but I'm pretty sure they apologized...

But what about now! President Obama's stimulus package has had a year to work it's magic. A year. And we have lost 4 million jobs since it passed. In the State of the Union the other day, he said, "We've lost 7 million jobs in the last two years."
Yes, 3 million under George W. Bush's last term,
and 4 million under your first year.

Four million jobs, a far cry from Bush's 1.8 million. Unemployement is now 10 percent. Yet somehow, this president is viewed as a savior. All firefighters would be canned if it weren't for the stimulus package. Teachers would be fired, leaving children with nothing to do.
And so, little schooless children would be forced to fight fires. Police would be fired. Anarchy/martial law would be a result and Barrack Obama would have to fly in with his cape and save the day.

It's amazing what a little R or a D next to a name can do.

But ofcourse, the real big lie- misdirection in all of this is that the president CAN create jobs. They don't. Reagan didn't create jobs. Clinton didn't create jobs.
Businesses create jobs.
But, let's just keep counting how many jobs we can save.

High School Article Causes Uproar in Local Community

Vista, CA- High school student Hannah Brenzel wrote an article that is upsetting several conservatives in her local community. In the January 2010 print of her school newspaper, The Eagle Flyer, her article titled, "Presidential Critique: Argument just for argument's sake?" contains several statements that reek foul.

It is obvious from her article that Brenzel sides with the Obama Administration. That is fine. What is bothersome is the misjudgement of those who do not side, or support, our President. This article is one of many that gets printed on a day by day bases, written by a liberal mindset, which inevitably deteriorates our fabric of the American society.

Brenzel begins her article explaining how negative it is for a child to accept the political views of their parents. Her incorporation of Socrates, though very wise, is used to support the modern day, morally declined secular view- which is our youth disobeying most of our rules as leading parents. But when it comes to politics, Brenzel encourages YOU to lean on YOUR OWN understanding.

It's every parents' duty to train up a child in the way they should go. Why am I wrong of a parent if I train my child to become a Christian Conservative? Shouldn't a child be able to trust the decisions of their own parent? Hannah Brenzel doesn't think so. Infact, she goes on to point out that some students chose to make statements that are inaccurate about our president- the students that don't agree with Obama.

But what about her and those like her? Is it not true they are doing the same? I see it all the time. People praise Obama's "political platform" all the time based on what... Because everyone else is doing it? I see more people praising Obama based on NO FACTS than I do people bashing Obama based on NO FACTS as well.

Yet it's the same old song and dance. I find it EVIDENT that so many liberals praise Obama because of... hmmm.... why do liberals praise Obama? Yet there is so much good reason for a realist, or truth seeker, to conclude that Obama is bad for this country. Brenzel's article makes it clear that I'm not respecting Obama because I disagree with him. This is ludicrous. I'm not throwing tomatoes at him.

If I have solid reason, and I do, to form my own political view on Obama, just as Brenzel encourages me to do in her article, which is that I do not agree with his agenda as president, how am I being disrespectful? It is obvious: Hannah Brenzel is like the majority of Obama supporters. She's closed-minded towards truth, and open-minded towards liberalism.

Her calvanistic approach at Romans chapter thirteen blinds our Christian youth into believing that God ordained this president into office. I can't buy that. I wont teach that to my youth. There is a key agent that she's leaving out. Most Calvanists also forget...

the element of our own free will. Our free will allows us to make choices and desicions. There are consequences to the wrong decisions we make. Obama is a result of a majority making a wrong decision. God didn't put Obama in office. We the people did. (We the people who voted for him, not we the people of the entire United States)

Another American offended by Brenzel's article, is Mario De Maria. Now you all know of Mario De Maria because I've brought him up before in past blogs and articles of my own. What's amazing about Mario is that he's a dying breed. Though only in his 20s, he grasps the threat we as God fearing Americans are facing. The plague of liberalism: a true mental disorder.

Mario De Maria understands that the enemy to our American way of life is biased news articles like the one Brenzel posted in The Eagle Flyer.

"But so what!" You might add,"Hannah Brenzel is harming nobody with her article! Why should we care or not about what our high schoolers post in their school paper?"

Because our youth is leaning on to their own understanding, not towards righteousness and truth. Brenzel's article is definite proof of this. Mario De Maria recognizes the severity of this situation. As an American patriot, who is not stubborn with his old age, and can lead our next generation of children, Mario De Maria made it very clear that Hannah Brenzel's article is an abortion.

January 20, 2010 marks the one-year anniversary of the criminal Obama's Presidency. January 19 marked further repudiation of all he stands for. It started at the All-Star Game in St. Louis, when half the fans booed the Acorn Man. It continued in November when Republican Chris Christie roundly won the Governorship of New Jersey and Republican Bob McDonnell wiped the floor with the Democrats in Virginia; both after Dumbo made personal appearances on behalf of his chosen minions.

On Tuesday Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley for “Ted Kennedy's Senate seat” in the “Boston Massacre,” winning by six points. What we are seeing is a conservative revolution. It is an astounding event. In 1994 the Republicans pulled off a similar political tsunami. This will make 1994 look like a mere blip on the radar screen. The Democrat Party may not survive what is about to occur.

First and foremost we are seeing what will be, by the end of 2010, the complete and total American:

- Repudiation of the incompetent “Ears” Obama.
- Repudiation of the immoral Kennedys.
- Repudiation of the impeached Clintons.
- Repudiation of the hooligans Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid.
- Repudiation of the illegal ACORN, the “black hand” of the Nazi-collaborating George Soros, the absurdity of MoveOn.org, the lies of Michael Moore, and the stupidity of Code Pink.
- Repudiation of the militant politics of Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, “black liberation theology,” and the legacy of the 1960s counter-culture.
- Repudiation of the unpatriotic works of Hollywood, the “lame stream” media, the “blame America first” crowd now indoctrinating our young from grade school to graduate school, and the unimpressives who make up the Left.
- Repudiation of the “global warming” mythologists and the socialized health care ram rodders.
- Repudiation of the displaced Communists who, since the fall of the Berlin Wall, have found a home in the international Left and made Acorn Man their poster child.
- Repudiation of Socialism in America!

A year ago, many worried that the criminal Obama was the anti-Christ. Biblical scholars generally conclude that such a creature is merely a malevolent spirit, and that the concept of Satan coming to fruition as a political or military leader is more a Hollywood construct. Brother Harold Camping is a Biblical scholar operating on a worldwide network called Family Radio. He says Christ will return on May 21, 2011, but offers no worry that our President is the Dark Prince.

For one thing, one might surmise that Satan would be a helluva lot smarter than the bumbling, stumbling Dumbo man with his stilted phrases, his incoherent speech in a lame attempt to “help” Coakley, and his unimpressive arguments on behalf of most everything he advocates.

In Massachussetts, Coakley trailed Brown by four points. Obama showed up and made a speech for her. Immediately afterward she trailed by seven en route to desultoriness. The “Obama effect” was the same in New Jersey and Virginia. It was not unlike previous efforts by Bill Clinton to “help” candidates who lost four or five points courtesy of his appearances on their “behalf,” or the infamous John Kerry. He trailed by a couple points before the 2004 Democrat National Convention. After America got a closer look at what the creatures of the Left were, they decided they should trail by five.

For Obama, as with other Democrat “heroes,” it has come down to an almost mathematical formula, and it works like this.
One observes Obama.
One sees what he does.
One thinks about it.
One uses his God-given common sense in analyzing what he sees.
Therefore, consequently, and as a result thereof, the fact that Obama and the Democrats are loathsome and atrocious simply emanates itself as manifest truth, knowledge of which is possessed by millions and millions of patriotic American citizens. Nobody needs to argue it, spin it or try to make anybody understand it. It simply exists as self-evident fact, which of course is always the best kind. (To put it more succinctly, to know Obama is to despise him.)

Bill Ayers is the unrepentant terrorist who tried to bomb the Pentagon, kill police officers, and was rewarded by the Left with university tenure. He is Dumbo's close friend. He hosted his political debut, served on boards with him, and is rumored to have ghostwritten his autobiography. He served the Dumbellionite Obama in his ascendancy as closely as Karl Rove was the architect of George W. Bush's early career in Texas, but Obama somehow thinks he can persuade us that, like Christ's apostles on the day of the crucifixion, “I do not know that man.” Except the Acorn man does it in that dumb sing-song voice of his: “He's a guuuuuyyy who lives in my neighborhood,” which is like the Kennedys saying their bootlegging, Nazi-sympathizing father, “Old Man Joe” was “Just, uh, a guy who, uh, lives, uh, in the neighborhood.”

Of course Obama “heard no evil” for 20 years while his pastor was telling a raucous, approving black crowd consisting of his and Ayers' Chicago neighbors that America is not blessed, but rather damned by Almighty God. One supposes Obama's most convincing argument that he disagreed with Reverend Wright might be that he does not believe an actual God exists to damn America, and attended the church as an act of political survival. It's the “Chicago Way.” As for his wife, America ending slavery on Earth or defeating the greatest armies ever assembled in two world wars are not to be admired. Only her husband's anointing is.

Dumbo still has a dwindling group of supporters in the media. They call him articulate. Who are they fooling? Hearing the ignoramuses call Obama “articulate” is a joke. He is neither articulate nor particularly smart. Bill Clinton was both. He rescued his Presidency by working with Republicans after the 1994 GOP sweeps. He adopted Republican economic policies and, as if by statistical formula, the economy revived. The guess hear is that Obama and his hard Left fellow travelers are too stubborn, proud and yes, too stupid to learn this lesson. They will go down with their ship, and the Democrat Party may well sink into oblivion forever. This seems incredible to imagine, but movements do happen that fast. The 1960s are over, baby!

Meanwhile, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is called “dumb.” One listens to her speak of a “fallen world,” of man's true relationship with God, and why the Founding Fathers favored limited government because they recognized the inherent corruption of men's souls, and one hears articulation so far and above the yap-yap-yap of the “man” who never stops talking, or getting face time on TV, or showing up at every soiree in which he can honor himself; well, Palin runs circles around Acorn Man six days of the week and twice on Sunday. We are led to believe that the Ivy League elites are so much better educated, yet has anyone noticed that one can attend Harvard and graduate hardly without attending class these days? Everything is on-line there and most everyplace else.

So the angry conservative Right is making a lot of noise, on Fox News, on talk radio, and at the “Tea Parties.” After what the Democrats did to President Bush for eight years, they should simply lack eligibility to complain about ANYTHING! The only thing they should have a right to do after their years of foul lies and perfidy is to SIT THERE AND TAKE IT. To say nothing! It is only the common decency that marks conservative people that prevents them from repeating the foul epithets that the Left vomited upon the public square for years.

Of course this does not stop them from besmirching the “tea baggers” with disgusting comments that more resemble their own “tea bagging,” which in Leftist circles is not a love of the Constitution, but love for a homosexual act too abominable to describe, that they apparently are far too intimately knowledgeable about.

The hooligan Pelosi says the “tea baggers” are not a “grass roots” movement, but rather “Astro turf.” Yeah, sure it is. Just like Hillary Clinton's “vast Right-wing conspiracy” consisted of millions of patriotic American citizens who had the temerity to register and vote Republican! Call it what you will - “tea baggers” or “vast Right-wing conspiracy” - but this enormous “silent majority” of the American citizenry is about to shock the world.

On the heels of the New Jersey and Virginia Governor's elections, and the Massachusetts Senate victory, these people are at the very beginning of a campaign season that will see the following:

- Harry “the war is lost” Reid's swift deportation to a southern Nevada strip mine town.
- The hooligan Boxer's swift deportation to a Sausalito hippy commune.
- The Republican's taking control of the House and Senate, and
- The criminal Obama's swift 2012 deportation to the neighborhood he shares with Bill Ayers, perhaps a job as “community organizer” of a Chicago thug group, or maybe a vacation to Mecca.

Remember New York Congressional District 23? Somehow, after losing enormous statewide elections in two pivotal races, the Democrats wanted you to believe the fiction that “winning” a tiny district bordering Canada was the news of the November elections. Here is the real news. That district will hold another election in November, and the conservative Dan Huffman will win the Republican primary and then beat Bill Owens.

Boxer's old Congressional seat is in liberal Marin County. It is as safe a Democrat seat as there is, but guess what? The Republicans are about to unveil an actual great candidate, and in this climate, he may win. The anti-American Lynn Woolsey will at least have to defend her territory, and this will be part of the nationwide story come November. It will be one of the most enjoyable, energizing political years in Republican history, and it will presage an even better one in 2012.

And another thing . . . Obama's old Illinois Senate seat, sold by Democrat Governor Rod Blagojevich, and never actually “won” by Obama (he used an illegal court ruling to steal it from Jack Ryan in 2004), will be in Republican hands come November. In other words, the quintessential repudiation of a man and his thug politics, known as the “Chicago way” in his so-called “home” state.

Who could possibly have predicted one year ago that the criminal Obama would be the greatest gift the Republican Party has had bestowed upon it in many a year? Who could have foreseen that the death of the immoral swimming champion Kennedy would be the death knell of his most cherished policy, health care? All of this is happening without any true Republican or even conservative leaders yet emerging. The Left will place forth the lie that this means the Right is rudderless. In truth it is the Left's worst nightmare, since the conservative ascendancy depends not on a single man, not on any “cult of personality,” but on the rising tide of an electrified populace. As anybody who knows anything about history understands, nothing on the face of this Earth is more unstoppable.

Oh, the delicious irony of it all. To watch former Vice-President Richard Cheney disseminating the truth about Obama's dithering, his failures and incompetency, each barb smacking the Democrats who blasted him for so long like, like . . . like “tea bags” across their wimpy faces.

Or to see Karl Rove exact revenge on his detractors every day with words of truth and wisdom in the Wall Street Journal and on Fox News. Or to see Governor Palin elevated to “rock star” status, her book selling in such extraordinary numbers as to be beyond mere phenomenon.

The daily exposition of criminality on the part of the ACLU, ACORN and the corrupt Democrat machines, the history of which goes back to the Confederacy, Tammany Hall, Kansas City's Pendergast machine, Clinton's Arkansas “mafia,” Jim Crow, and the total destruction of virtually every urban center in America, brings the widest possible smiles to the faces of honest Republicans from coast-to-coast.

At the heart of this ascendancy has been a conservative media that simply wins in the great marketplace of ideas. Fox News ate up the ratings like a hungry lion. They featured conservatives like Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck, day-by-day dismantling the Obama myth. The “lame stream” media that makes up the New York Times, the Washington Post, Time, the now-defunct Newsweek, and news programs on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC, all watched and read by nobody, not to mention the zero-ratings Air America; all these outlets of venom and incompetence are failing in one way or another. They want you to believe it is because of the Obama economy, or the Internet, but these business factors do not have an effect on successful operations like the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Times, Human Events, the Weekly Standard and Newsmax. Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and a host of lesser lights simply wallow in their own rhetorical feces.

Michael Moore makes two hours of celluloid garbage and the Left wants to trumpet it as a widespread and “compelling.” It finished behind Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. The first moment many Republicans knew George W. Bush would win in 2004 was when they saw Fahrenheit 9/11. The day after that victory was attained in record numbers a billboard went up on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, depicting Moore and the other Hollywood unimpressives. It thanked them for their “help” in delivering victory to Bush and his party.

None of this stopped Hollywood from making lying movies like In the Valley of Elah, Rendition and Lions For Lambs. None did business, but movies with a Christian, conservative message, like The Blind Side and Gran Torino, did. So did the patriotic Charlie Wilson's War. Finally they made an Iraq War movie that, while not pro-Bush, was at least fair and realistic. The Hurt Locker, unlike the liberal trash, did well.

The conservatives behind radio microphones are simply having a field day destroying Obama. Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, G. Gordon Liddy and a host of others are at the apex of their power and influence. Amazingly, the only time listeners actually hear the things said by the Dumbellionites of MSNBC, CNN and the like are when Limbaugh or Hannity replay their stupidities on their shows. It is almost a kind of free advertising.

Again, a year ago it all looked so hopeless, but like Winston Churchill in the darkest days of the Battle of Britain, a book emerged to begin shedding light on the Obama White House. Michelle Malkin's Culture of Corruption was an enormous best seller. Ayn Rand's 1957 novel Atlas Shrugged hit the bestseller lists, too. It described a bleak economic landscape that readers immediately identified as Obamaland. Deep, deep down the corrupters of the White House saw this and began to squirm just a little bit.

A time-line of Acorn Man's first year shows a drip-drip of downward spiraling movement, inexorably leading to a tipping point that, incredibly and to their shock and dismay, most likely will not be reversed.

- On January 20, 2009, “Ears” was inaugurated. It was more like an anointing, a religious event. He was utterly popular, the Republicans completely beaten, and conservativism declared to be dead. Stories of his “muscularity” (despite his skinny little body) and the “work out regimen” that produced wife Michelle's “sinewy arms” were breathlessly written. (Remember those stupid cartoons caricaturing Bush with huge ears? That is actually what the goofy-lookin' Obama looks like in real life.)
- Obama then ordered Gitmo to be shut down and terrorists captured on the battlefield to be read Miranda rights. His Homeland Security chief called terrorism a “man made disaster.”
- In February he signed a bill that socialized the economy and nationalized some of our most precious industries. President Bush deserves plenty of blame for starting us down this road, but where Bush went five percent along this path, Obama went 90 percent further into the oblivion of debt and Socialism. Obama inherited a normal cyclical recession and, by his own hand and on purpose, turned it into the “worst economy since the Great Depression.” Why? Because it was his ticket to the power of Washington bureaucracy.
- Obama engaged in a full throttle attack on capitalism, Wall Street, banking and success. Why? Because in his view America is a racist, immoral nation, our success built on the backs of the dispossessed and the poor. In his view, every dollar earned by a capitalist is a dollar stolen from the poor. American success and righteousness are of no good purpose to Obama's Democrats.
- Obama introduced “cap 'n' trade” and “card gate.” The first was an attempt to impose insane volumes of taxes upon business, mostly small business. The costs of course are passed on to the consumers. The second initiative was designed to see to it that a majority of working people belong to unions that supported Obama and the Democrats whether the workers liked it or not. Both were un-Constututional.
- On February 27 the fakir Obama announced his “cut 'n' run' policy from Iraq.
- A troubling rumor began to gain momentum; that Obama was not eligible for the Presidency because he had not been born in the U.S. Much so-called “evidence” that he was born in Honolulu surfaced, including a newspaper clipping that may or may not have been real, but none of it was compelling. Certainly no Hawaii birth certificate emerged, even though anybody born in Kapiolani Hospital can obtain one by requesting it in writing and receiving it a couple weeks later. Somehow Obama could not do this act. His college records were sealed. Why? The rumor was that it would show he attended as a foreign student, not to mention it might demonstrate that Bush made better grades (just as he had better grades than John Kerry and Al Gore). A birth certificate showing him to be born in Indonesia was produced. Its authenticity could not be proven, but it could not be disproven, either. The issue was used by his supporters as “proof” that the conservatives were nuts. In the months since, this issue has given way to substantive complaint of his policies, but to date no actual proof the “man” was born in Hawaii exists.
- In March Obama endorsed the use of aborted fetuses in stem cell research. - Obama called the Boston Police “stupid” because they arrested a black professor breaking into his home.
- Finally, a chink in his armor appeared at baseball's All-Star Game in St. Louis. In the first half of the year, his popularity maintained sky-high ratings, but when he went on the field to throw out the first ball, he was booed on national TV. It was an incongruous sight and sound after a year-plus of total adulation, and the first small sign that he could have trouble ahead. Nobody could have predicted the swiftness of his descendancy after that, however. It did not help when his “pitch” delivering the first ball was as weak and feminine as any in the history of Presidential first-ball throws.

- In August Senator Kennedy died.
- ACORN was exposed as a criminal organization. Obama, who came up with them, and learned the Saul Alinsky tactics of “community organizing” with them, tried to distance himself from their illegalities.
- Obama's supporters, including Jimmy Carter, began to, of their own free will, state the lie that his detractors were racist. They knew it was not true. They said it anyway.
- National socialized health care legislation was proposed.
- In September Obama addressed the U.N. The uncomfortable fact that he was more popular in the world than at home began to make itself known.
- Obama claimed that his economic policies had succeeded, despite the fact that every piece of evidence proved him wrong. Millions made mental note of this.
- In October the criminal Obama “won” the Nobel Peace Prize. His nomination for the Nobel came within weeks of his January inauguration and he had accomplished zero in the months since. It served to mock him further when he traveled to Copehangen to lobby for the Olympics in Chicago and was turned down. Millions made mental not of this.
- The Obama Administration warned that swine flue would be an epidemic. It was a ploy to convince people that, without socialized medicine, we were doomed to a medical disaster. Non of it ever came close to happening.
- In November a homegrown Islamic Jihadist killed 13 soldiers, but Obama refused to call him a terrorist. It was an act of terror committed under his watch that Bush had prevented. America noticed.
- Obama failed to follow the advice of his military advisors in Afghanistan and ordered halfway measures putting more American boys in harm's way.
- Obama made a speech at West Point. The soldiers were falling asleep, and liberal commentator Chris Mathews called the U.S. Military Academy “enemy territory” for Obama. Millions of patriotic American citizens, uh . . . made note of this.
- While Democrats consider great young people in the military to be the “enemy,” Obama bonded with anti-American Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez. Communist genocidalist Fidel Castro expressed great admiration for Obama. These are not people you want to have as your friends, but the Democrats have always been the preferred party of criminals, anti-Americans, pornographers (Larry Flynt did their PR work for free) and Communists (one American returned from living in North Korea after 40 years in 1996 “to vote for Bill Clinton.”)
- Obama failed to attend ceremonies for D-Day, the fall of the Berlin Wall or Pearl Harbor, preferring instead trips to places like Copenhagen to honor himself. Instead of watching the returns when Democrats got killed in the November elections, he was glued to a documentary about his “greatness.”
- In December a “global warming summit” failed despite Obama's plea to achieve “something.” This on the heels of evidence the Left covered “global warming's” apparent lack of existence, which of course comes on the top of anecdotal knowledge by humans living on the planet that it lacks existence upon the crust of the Earth.
- Despite reams of evidence, Obama's government failed to stop a terrorist bomber from trying to blow up a plane. The reason? Political Correctness. Again, it was the kind of act Bush prevented but Obama did not, but luckily the bomb did not detonate.
- In January a huge earthquake hit Haiti. Obama's response was less impressive than Bush's during Hurricane Katrina.
- The Democrats attempted to ramrod socialized medicine on an American public that opposes it, 70-30. They attempted to bribe and buy votes, breaking numerous ethical laws. They tried to sneak everything past the public in the dark of night. Obama's campaign promise of transparency, of televizsed hearings on C-SPAN, was revelaed instead to be a lie.
- Obama's approval ratings head towards 40 percent, the fastest drop in the quickest amount of time in the history of polling. At this rate, he will be around 30 percent when voters go to the polls in November.
- As if by divine intervention, Kennedy's death and Brown's victory stops socialized medicine and harbingers Democrat disaster. America made mental note of this.

History also provides a guide to what is happening. Obama is swimming upstream anyway in that a first-year President usually loses in Congress, but the facts of the past 50 years are more starkly against him. The last time the Democrats sustained a series of electoral successes was the John Kennedy-Lyndon Johnson succession of 1960-64. In 1966 the Republicans swept to victory and continued this winning streak, culminating with Richard Nixon's 49-state sweep of 1972. Only the blip of Watergate saved the Democrats from the oblivion they will be facing in this decade.

In 1976 they thought they were the “winners of history” with Jimmy Carter and the Congress winning, but in 1978 California's Proposition 13 portended a 14-year GOP run encompassing Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush until 1992. Clinton's 1992 sweeps resembled Obama's in 2008. His 1994 repudiation resembled the current repudiation. The GOP succeeded in Congress and eventually the White House until 2006. The Democrats have never shown any staying power when it comes to electoral results, and there is zero evidence they are about to.

Perhaps Brother Camping is right and the Lord will indeed return on May 21, 2011. If so, none of this will much matter, and one could argue that in the larger scheme of things, Obama's failure matters none compared with the issue of Rapture and Salvation. However, there are many of us who think God indeed did shed His grace on thee; that he created and blessed this beautiful nation so that freedom and, ultimately, the chance to hear His word and be saved, could be made available to the largest number of the planet's population. As it says in Revelations, in the Final Days the saved shall be a figure “no man can number.” If so, then perhaps the Good Lord does care who runs God's Country. We ask not that he be on our side, but rather we pray that we be on His.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, will be joining Fox News as a regular commentator. Guess Ann Coulter won't be the only hot conservative woman on that station.

Homeland Chief Warns Against Anti-Muslim Backlash

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — The U.S. Homeland Security secretary says she is working to prevent a possible wave of anti-Muslim sentiment after the shootings at Fort Hood in Texas.

Janet Napolitano says her agency is working with groups across the United States to try to deflect any backlash against American Muslims following Thursday's rampage by Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim who reportedly expressed growing dismay over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The shootings left 13 people dead and 29 wounded.

Napolitano was in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday for talks with security officials and a meeting with women university students in Abu Dhabi.

Rep. Joe Wilson was RIGHT: Obama IS a liar!

Republican Joe Wilson is sorry for his outburst at Obama but is done apologizing. You may remember when Obama asserted in last Wednesday's prime-time speech that his health care reform plan excludes illegal aliens from benefits.

Wilson stood firm and shouted, "You lie!"

Republican elders pressured Wilson into issuing a written mea culpa shortly after the speech, and he followed up with a phone call to the White House. That should be enough for anyone, the five-term congressman argued Sunday.

"I am not going to apologize again." he said, "I have apologized to the President. I think that is sufficient."



I personally feel that many GOP leaders and especially Republicans are on the band wagon of being cowards; and are afraid to stand up to unscrew corruption. Like many real patriots to America, Joe Wilson was pushed to the edge with Obama's lies and abuse on America. I feel he was justified to stand firm and shout "You lie!" to the President. He was a lot more professional than I would have been.

Wilson was right! The President was being dishonest when he said the House health care bill does not provide benefits to illegal immigrants. It does!!!

1. For starters, according to the Congressional Research Service, HR 3200 "does not contain any restrictions on noncitzens participating." The system would essentially operate on an honor system by illegal immigrants.

2. Second, HR 3200 provides State Medicaid agencies with the ability to set eligibility standards for the low income subsidies. Since States are given a 100% federal match, there is nothing to discourage them from setting loose standards that allow illegal immigrants to be enrolled in the program.

3. With the help of the National Council of La Raza, the most anti-American organization I've ever investigated, (which most of you know how I'm so driven against La Raza) House Democrats defeated two amendments offered to HR 3200 that would have added explicit taxpayer protections to stop benefits from going to illegal immigrants.

4. Senate Democrats promised Friday to include NEW citizenship verification requirements in their health care bill, proving that Joe Wilson was right about giant loophole in the House bill.
