So, I saw the new Judge Dredd movie "DREDD" in theatres tonight. It was COMPLETELY different from the Sylvester Stallone version. Karl Urban, who I only remember from "The Chronicles of Riddick" and "The Borne Supremacy" plays the newer Dredd. It was a fun movie....
...not one for the kids. Movie is rated R.
Olivia Thirlby costars as Dredd's partner. All the other movies she's been in I haven't seen.
She plays Dredd's rookie partner.
Of course, she's no Diane Lane, who was Dredd's partner in the Sylvester Stallone version.

Diane Lane was a young, hot fox then, and is still a fox today.
Anyway, getting back to the new Dredd 3D movie (yes, filmed and written for the 3D lovers)
Lena Headey stars as the main badguy... bad-woman named "Ma-ma"
Lena Headey plays Ma-ma, the leader of a gang responsible for a new drug called Slo-mo.
Her character is a violent one and they really do a number on her face.
Lena is originally a gorgeous actress, but in Dredd, she has short hair, a cut up face, and looks like a druggy. In fact, I think her character is suppose to be a retired (or worn out) prostitute, now bigshot drug producing manager.

....yeah, interesting plot.
Picture on the Left is what she looks like in Dredd.
On the Right, she's cute.
You might remember her from TV's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"

or
"300"
I think the wierdest movie I've ever seen Lena Headey in was a total B rate horror movie called,
"The Broken."
